Butt HP
Water Pump failed on the way to work this morning at ~87K miles on 2007 n54. Cobb confirmed codes. Luckily I was able to roll over 3 lanes of rush hour into a random mobile 1 quick lube shop. The dude seemed pretty ok and got on the phone to the dealer a few miles down the road and quoted me $1K parts and labor, book at 3 hours.
anyway my butt is telling me throttle response is AMAZINGLY hotter now. So does this pump slow die and the ECU compensates accordingly? Ive had the CObb set at stock just to lay off the juice for a while, but yowsa. props to random indy shop. tipped the guy a $20 bucks for beer and getting it done with no appointment and no hassle. there is good in the world. |

I'm wondering the same thing... Can't wait until I get my replacement DISA to test it out, since it's not making a significant difference with it being on its way out.
