30FF code-boost leak

I'm still in under CPO and going to take it to the dealer.
I currently have a JB4 and will take it out before, however I read I should clear the codes before I remove it so the dealer doesn't know I have a tune.
Will I have to wait for the Engine Fault light to appear (30FF) again so the dealer can trace the cause of the code?

Have you checked the typical things? Chargepipe connection?

Yes- The end of my OEM charge pipe looks intact, I didn't see any cracks anywhere.
HOWEVER. One of the Bypass valves has oily grimmy film all around it. I disconnected from the pipe and it also has some oil inside.
How does this happen and where is it coming from???

Oil blow by, a catch can will decrease that. Although there appears to be quite a bit, but i'm only comparing that to my car, so it may actually be perfectly fine (That amount of oil).

That definitely doesn't look like a normal amount of blow by. Looking at the 2nd pic your front diverter valve could be gummed up and not closing properly. But I would be more concerned as to why there is an abnormal amount of oil in your intake tract.

I'd start by replacing th PCV with the RB one, and also a catch can. If you still have a lot of blow by then I'd say the turbos are the culprit.

Could be a bad vacum/boost solenoid line as well, simple to check and repair....

Could be a bunch of things...

- Vacuum line leak
- Faulty boost solenoid
- Wastegate not opening/closing properly due to worn out wastegate bearing
- Boost leak from cracked charge pipe or air duct between the turbo and the IM

Thankfully you are still covered. Keep us posted.

Yes, it could be that too. How'd did you clean the TMAP sensor?

For 3 straigtht days I've noticed when the car is not warmed up and I speed up (not even close to WOT), I get the light. Even on map 0 on JB4.

If you're seeing oil film around your DVs on the charge pipe then you've got your issue solved. Your diverter valves are most likely faulty/leaking. I'd look into an aftermarket charge pipe that retains the OEM c-clip connection to the throttle body. Weather you go aftermarket DVs or BOV is a matter of personal taste. Our recommendation is to stay with DVs and recirculate.

Waiting around for dealership appt. In preparation a couple of days ago, I removed JB4, and dual cone intake. Guess What? I Can't trigger the stupid 30FF code.

I had a PTF tune before and never got a code. I install the JB4 I get a code.
Remove it, no code. What's up w/ the JB4?

I took my car out 3 times to the track, first time all good, second time got the 30ff, last too times i was using cobb, between the first and second time I added a bms occ, it was the second trip that I got the 30ff, and well yesterday I got it again, but this time I was using the jb4 g5!!! and the first 3 runs car ran slow like 13.5, checked my map it was on 3, reset it to map 5 then kicked it to 4 every time I launched reset it about 4 time, on my second run is when I got the engine malfunction, on my 5 run or so, car ran perfect hit a 12.8, it stayed it map 5 last run of the day map 5 at my launch it went to map 4 again, have a felling i am getting what mr. law is getting, so I would say jb4 isn't the issue, since I experienced with both cobb and jb4. My issue right now, JB4 equals no 30FF. Installed Cobb and have 30FF. If JB ISO is not a pass through on map 0 that may be my problem so today I installed back end flash and ran customer JB map 6, no 30FF so I know it's not mechanical.
