Valve cover replacement/ walnut shell blast in prep for new VTT 2+'s
Went in and finally took the plunge to realllly taking apart the engine. Opened up probably the worse case of carbon build up i have seen on these fourms. Used a flat head to gently scrape the quarter inch of carbon chunks off the walls of all of them while vaccuming before i even hit it with the shells. then finished with carb cleaner and a gun brush for a pretty awesome turn around. my camera focused on the outside of the cylinders so i didnt get good pictures i apologize ahead of time.
Went on after that to replacing the valve cover and PCV system with some new Rob Beck parts and a BMS OCC so this doesnt happen again. initial startup was ROUGH then i remembered i had to reset adaptations so i did that turned her back on and she had a SOLID idle and it was amazing. Some burning of some funky smelling stuff but that has since subsided. Everything seems perfect havent had the chance to go wide open yet but I intend on doing that after some more installs this week. All this is in prep for my Vargas Stage 2+ that should be here within a few weeks. one of the first orders for the 20T's ! cant wait.

i did it just before 80k and the pictures dont do it justice it was WELLL overdue. i actually had to scrape the walls with a flat head and a steel brush before i even blasted. it was horrific.
I will be running JB4 and probably make a custom map in the custom slot on jb4 from the guys down at National Speed (where MOTIV tuned their world record 335i)
