Battery drain issue
Replaced my old battery with similar specs all coded. few days ago my car was completely dead.
had it charged and checked. turns out the battery is fine but can't seem to find the culprit as in what keeps draining it. one thing i have noticed is that after the car sleeps (transmission light turns off) the car makes this fuel pump noise and then the "start stop push button" lights up....and sometimes it stays lit up for a while...maybe that can be my problem but has anyone had something similar to this? recent electronics mods are the high performance interior led light. had it installed few weeks ago so idk |

UPDATE had this code pop up few days prior
Possible causes - Faulty Fuel Level Sensor - Fuel Level Sensor harness is open or shorted - Fuel Level Sensor circuit poor electrical connection Read more: http://engine-codes.com/p1408_bmw.html#ixzz3IuRNIW00 maybe this is why my car does not goto sleep |

My car is a 2007 335i sedan.
Built date: sept 2006. Daeos vista harness installed. A few nights ago, after parking at home noticed fuel pumping every 9 sec. On/off. Traced it to my harness not making good contact to my left AEs. A short will cause your fuel pump to cycle on/off repeatedly. So if you have a short code....investigate it fully to rule it out. DN |
