Back to the issue at hand, love the car and I am just learning all the nuances of what can and can't be done. Would love to be able to read codes and do some coding but have read mixed reports as to which cables to get. Some don't work etc. Can I rely upon just picking up a cable or plug in wifi from ebay? Any specific ones that work or are junk?

I have just travelled from Sydney to Byron Bay and had about 5 engine faults come up, each requiring a restart to get out of limp mode so I am keen to find out what is going on.

Thanks,
Gary
IMO just get a cobb/jb4 or even a cheap used procede. these devices give you the capability to check codes and clear them and also give you much more power.

In most cases a fresh set of plugs and coils solves the limp mode issues.

The cobb and jb4 are much more popular than the procede, but the procede still makes great power for say $250 that they go for used! (I got 224kw atw by just plugging the procede in)

I got a guy up the road from work that I did a meal swap for a paint job for my old car, said he would paint the bar for $300 if I just drop it off to him and fit it myself.

When it arrives, I'm hoping it'll be a good fit and won't need any custom work to fit!

And I guess I can afford it, but I wanna stretch my budget as much as possible with this car. I'm jumping in on the group buy for the 1M kit from MME with you and ink

Is the 1M group buy closed?

Over a year later, he messages me on that forum which I rarely check any more, I don't reply, he must have put crowdedthehouse into google, found my profile on E90post, went to threads I had started AFTER registering an account for these forums, logging in and then posting a completely random message in my thread.

He really must want this hoodie badly. I guess it's hard to get these days lol
