330i wheel fitment question

Well, its been a bit of a rough night. I picked up my new 330i with sp earlier this week and finally got around to taking off the 162s and mounting the 17" snow tires and wheels from my previous E46.

Well - they don't fit. So - I have practically new 17" snow tires on wheels that won't clear the brakes (by the way, does anyone know if the link to all the BMW wheels by number?).

So here's my question - are the brakes any differnt in size on the 330i with sp and without.... Tirerack doesn't list any 17" wheels for the sp 330i, but there are a few for the non-sp 330i. As long as the brakes are the same, it seems to make sense to just order some 17" wheels from tire rack that will clear the brakes and pay to have the tires remounted.

Thanks,
Jason

The Tires are 225/45HR-17 Dunlop Winter Sport M3 DSST RunFlat

2006 330i Spt Pkg winter tire fit issue

Similar to the other post, I have a set of Enkei DM5 17X7 wheels and Pilot Alpine winter tires but they don't seem to fit on my 330i Spt Pkg.

According to Discount Tire, these should fit. Same story with my local dealership, but the calipers seem to rub the inner wheel.

Any ideas? How do you know which wheels will fit???

I have a set of track tires/wheels with Kosei K1's for my e90 330i ZSP in the 17x8.5 fitiment. They clear the brake with no problems at all. You do get 17" choices if you select non sports package e90 330i's on tirerack.com. The brakes don't differ in size from sport to non-sport.
