Running E85 with Cobb AP V3

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am relatively new to ecu tuning and flashing. I have seen a lot of people on here talking about how awesome our cars run on a blend of 93 and E85. I recently purchased and am about to install my Cobb Accessport. Other than that my car is pretty much stock other than an intake, which performance wise is meaningless. Can I run a blend of 93 and E85 with my car as is? if not what do I need to do/mod to do so?

I plan to make other changes in the future, I just want to get through my warranty without having to unbolt major components everytime I take it in to the dealer.

You won't see a large benefit using the included maps, it'll just clean up any timing corrections. You can make some serious power using E85 with the proper tune even with minimal supporting modification.

So how would I go about getting the proper tune? Can Cobb do this for me?

You can DIY with the Cobb ATR software, there's also a few companies who do remote tuning, PTF and Wedge. They're both on the forum.

Awesome, thanks! Looks like the software also allows you to do map sharing so I guess I could gat a map from someone else who already has it set up.

Pro tune maps from PTF will be locked to specific cars and cannot be shared. The maps created by Wedge may not be locked but I doubt people will share them with you and even if they did, it may not run properly on your car. When you pay for a custom tune, you're also paying for ongoing support from the tuner. If you have issues, they'll edit the maps until the issue is resolved. You paid thousands of dollars for your car. Do yourself a favor and pay a couple hundred extra to ensure that it is running properly or just don't run e85 at all.

Just to clear the air, I am not trying to get anything for free or cheat anyone out of anything, I'm just unaware of how these things work.

I do appreciate all of the feedback and help, and I will definitely seek these guys' guidance on doing this in the event that I cannot do it myself.

However, I do remember speaking to one of the guys at Cobb about there being a race map that I could download from ther website and use for an E85 mix, he just said to be cautious as my mix may not be accurate if I am just guessing by how many gallons of each I put in as the concentrations of the fuels themselves may not be accurate.

Does anyone have any knowledge on this race map he was talking about?

Sorry I did not mean to come off as rude. And yes but there are only free race maps for the N54 at the moment. I'm sure they will release some for the N55 eventually.
