JBD at 85%
cranked to 85% went for a test drive and noticed the diesel "knock" sound more prominent know what I mean ... while its normal to hear (given fuel pressure increase) did anyone else notice this

I run mine at 100%, and it does make a bit more noise when you put the hammer down... but you can't really hear it over me giggling!

Its related to turning for you? The only thing its ever been related to for me is the time since start. Ive never set it off once the car has been running for a while. The only thing I dont like about 100% is that the transmission is considerably more idiotic than without the JBD on. |

If I were to pull out quickly from a parking lot or making a left or right turn quickly from a stop with somewhat aggressive acceleration, it will set off limp mode from me.
I found the happy medium to be 80-85% (no label on the JBd potentiometer, so it's a guess). Once warranty is over end of 2015, I am taking a drive to Canada to get my tuning done. Stage 2, stock components, and software delete the EGR valve operation. |

I did however notice this week that the transmission seems confused when I am cruising below freeway speeds in the hills, does a lot of shifting up and down. I went to manual mode and used the paddles, and that worked well.

after I changed my tranny fluid and pan/filter I reset the values. I was running JBD at 100% at the time before and after, didnt notice any difference.

used the bav tech tool. I dont think the pedal trick resets the transmission adaptation values, only the pedal adaptations. I believe the transmission adaptations are intended to modify shifting based on fluid condition.
