anyone with a 6MT and short shifter in the GTA?

hey guys,

anyone have a short shift kit for a 6MT installed?

I was hoping to feel first hand the difference, so if you've got one of the following please PM so I can drive over and feel first hand the difference in shifting (while parked)

-Shiftek SSK (BMS)
-UUC SSK
-BMW Performance SSK

thanks in advance!

Haven't felt one first hand, but have heard it's a great addition to the 6MT.
Come to think of it, not sure why I haven't done this yet myself.

Keep me posted if you get this done. Will be curious which brand you went with, price, and effort to install.

Good luck!

I have a SSK in the style of BMW - 60mm throw. I used a different stick than OEM, but still a BMW stick.

Look up Rouge Engineering SSK - great reviews - m,ayeb better built than UUC. BMS has a UUC clone now, that clone was also featured on ebay under a different name EG- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E82-E8...item3a99f17b7e

Have the BMW performance SSK on the 6MT 135i I remember when I first installed it it felt like a different car. I've driven subarus, other bmws, MBs and nothing comes close to how short/tight the SSK is... Must have mod and it takes no time to get use to it... Just drive

^ +1. I LOVE my BMW Performance SSK. One of the BEST mods. One of the few reasons I love my BMW!

I have the shift knob from the ssk kit but never got the ssk. Feel embarrased everytime with the 1 to 2 when I have passengers.

How is the ssk in the winter?
