I second this request! Anyone? Since I'm the girl that always gets the boys to do my mods for me, I'm trying to be independent and do it myself but I need some guidance

So with the gp thunder 8500 bulbs do I buy

1 pair for angel eyes
1 pair for fogs?

what about for the cornering lights?

I found some gp thunder 8500s for $16/pair at http://www.hid-lights.com.

Yes, good deal. Cornering lights people buy the Mtecs. Use the search feature and search this thread for "Mtec" or "cornering."

For the corner light.... H3 bulb... if you got money try some Piaa H3 bulb.

For H3 cornering lights, I only see 55 watts. Is there a 35watt so I don't throw a code?

I did a search on this and couldn't find a definitive answer.

Cornering light is H3. H3 is 55Watt. No error. Search for Thread start by me... and you will definitely have all ur questions answered.

H8 is 35 Watt.

H8 35W for the angel eyes and the fogs are fine. The corners are H3 55W. I also ordered my GP Thunder H8s from HID-Lights last week. I'll let you guys/gals know if they are any good. Price is good. Unfortunately I got charged an extra $10 for delivery to Canada.

i just ordered 2 sets of gp 8500 from them as well.

my question is what do you want the corner h3 for? al they make is orange so what is the point. gp makes h3 orange as well might as well get them all from that site and save on shippng.

No the cornering lights are not the sidemarkers.See this thread.These lights activate when you turn the wheel (with lights in auto position) and when car is put in reverse. This was my next Mod after the angel eyes

I used Mtec Super-white. That was the best match I found. The GP's looked a little too blue in the cornering position. Take a look at some of the photos. Best match I tried was GP thunder 8500=Angel Rings Mtec Superwhite=Cornering Mtec Superwhite=Fogs. GPT's look too blue in fogs and cornering IMO. The first one is my car. 2nd one I found in the thread. This is what this set-up looks like. GP's for angels, Mtec for the rest. Also, although they are more White/Blue they my GP's were the brightest I found. Perfect match IMO.

ok so the mtec acualy goes better with the gp thunders than the h3 gp thunders do?



i think ill wait till my car accualy gets here to buy these. dont want to mod to fast ill get bored.

Does anyone know which GP Thunder 8500k? On hid-lights.com theres 2 types of bulbs, They got the regular bulbs and the ones w/ IOn coating. Which one do i get for the angel eyes & fogs? Also where can i buy them h3 mtec bulbs for the cornering lights?
