I currently own a 2007 328i but have always loved the 335d's and I think I have finally found one.

The car is a 2011 335d with 99k miles and is listed for $18,900. I know the mileage is high and that is why I am posting this question. How are these motors holding up at higher miles? I am more than capable of most mechanical fixes so I am not afraid of working on the car when needed.

Haven't heard of any motor problems with longevity (may have seen a couple replacements during warranty period.) Only problems seem to be CBU and emissions systems.

Mine is at 98k now and still feels just like it did originally. Keep the carbon out and the engine seems like it should go for a long time. There are some of the euro models well over 100k miles. Aside from electronics which could possibly go at any point, the only other thing with possibly a "short" service life would be the turbos. Some of the UK guys have said turbos are needing to be rebuilt between 100k and 200k, but the amount of mileage you get out of them obviously heavily depends on how well you (the previous owner in this case) treat the car.
