when to change rear disks ?
Im going to have to change my rear brake pads in a 100 miles or so.
It will be the 2nd set from new. The car (remapped 330D) has done 47K miles. What's the likely hood of the disks need replacing too? I havent had time to measure disk brake thickness but even though the disk wear looks (from viewing through wheel) even Id have thought new disks are likely to be necessary. Might as well order disks as well as pads - agree ? Got Brembo HP2000 pads on the front - not sure what to get for rears - probably OEM from ECP.

As well as thickness look at the discs if they are lipped corroded then if it was me I'd change then seen too many cars having pads changed on corroded discs
