197mph LPG E92 Record Breaker!

The £140k AC Schnitzer GP3.10 - an E92 with an M5 engine (power upped to 552bhp) has broken the world record for an LPG powered top speed of 197mph!!

thanks for the link, maybe im blinkered here but 192 in a 550bhp engine is slow compared to what an actual 5 series can do with that engine as is a 0-62 in 4.6. So is this because of the LPG? so will it be quicker running on petroleum?

Well my experience of LPG was that it robbed the engine of about 10% of it's power. So the question is was the quoted horsepower produced on petrol or gas? I agree it doesn't sound very fast for the power.
