**Urgent*got into a car accident.please help.

I got into a car accident today and I need to get a new hood, passengerside xenon headlight, bumper and passengerside front fender.

So I'm planning to get Vorsteiner CF domehood, and reiger/Dukedynamics/Mtech front bumper (not decided).

But then I need to get OEM parts for fender and xenon headlight, where can I get these at a reasonable price?

And also, should I tell my insurance to pay for it?
Or is it better to just fix it with my money?

Please help me out

I'll post pics when I take some pics at the bodyshop tomorrow

Thanks in advance...

Be careful w/ insurance cause an accident stays on your record for quite some time and will raise your premiums, depending on what happened and who was at fault.

Keep in mind, they will pay to return it to stock ONLY, and you have to front the deductible.

So it comes down to a fender and headlight that they would be replacing according to your plans... it this cheaper or more than your deductable? If more, how much? Is a few hundred worth a price increase in your insurance premiums?

many factors to consider...

good luck! sorry to hear

I don't think anyone can tell you what the right thing to do regarding insurance is unless you tell us more about the accident..Based on the fact that you have front end damage I am assuming you hit someone or hit something....So in that case get an estimate if it is more than you are willing to fork over then call your insurance.

I just had similar damage:

Hood: ~$450
Bumper Cover: ~$250
Xenon Assembly: ~$1,200!!

Not sure about the fender and this is all before paint & labor so I would be calling your insurance company if I were you.

I personally would buy the headlight used and try to find a used fender, or depending on how bad, might be fixable. painting on the fender wont be much... this way you might pay a bit more than your deductable, yet you have a clear driving record which will greatly pay off in the long run... Probably in the first few months since the accident will cause a HUGE increase in your premiums

Yeah, the headlight alone is going to be ~1100.00 or more.
