got rid of RFTs and installed Bridgestone S04 pole position...quieter, better ride and better grip for less than $600

agree...dont like the feel of RFT's at all...too stiff feeling and not enough grip and noisy.

Yes I agree - I have tried nitro now the second time and honestly there is no real visible improvement.

However, when I tried it the first time it "felt" better initially

Only the reality proved me wrong

Glad I did a little reading here. I am considering filling my RFT's with Nitro. In NC the temperature can change drastically and when it gets extremely cold it normally sets a sensor off. Has anyone found that Nitro helps with the fluctuation?

I have a square setup and run 36-37 psi all the way around. For long trips I might edge it up a couple.

Naw, you gotta run Helium in your tires. Make the car lighter and you get 5 - 10 HP from it. lol

In Amish country here....I run steel wagon wheels, no rubber on my rims. Plus the women love the sparks when I do wagon wheel burn outs.

That's what I run. Gotta make sure you have red calipers though.

My dad has Nitrogen in his tires and says it's awesome for reducing the chage with the massive temp fluctuations we have here. (It was 60 two weeks ago and is close to record cold 1 degree tonight!)

On my front, I've been running close to 50psi in my tires with no problems. I've done it for 6+ years. Just get better gas mileage.

On another note, I just put on a winter set without run flats and the TPM malfunction warning is driving me crazy...is there anyway to disable it???

50 is the max rating on the tyre wall. After a motorway run you will be well above 50!

It's possible but involves coding and disconnecting your RDC module. Was easier on < 2010 cars because you could just code & pull a fuse, but that circuit at some point was changed so the iDrive controller is now part of it.
