But i have to disagree that circumference isn't important. Keeping the overall rolling diameter close to stock is important in ensuring that the cars gearing is maintained.

Maintaining stock gearing is only useful for speed readouts, you can change the gearing through tyre size the same way you would through diff ratios. Though it will affect your speed reading.

What I meant was it is not important in this instance ( I had mentioned already that at 100kmh it would read 103kmh which is not a major issue) the increase in sidewall is the issue.

There is no huge increase in sidewall, the website you are using is comparing a tyre size to another size.. It does not factor in the stretch and what rim size the tyre is going on.

Of course it's going to seem like there is a huge increase in sidewall when it's tyre vs tyre...

You do realise the construction and direction if the material in your sidewall is entirely different to that of the tread. Just because it is stretched it doesn't stop being sidewall and its inherent weakness is still there.

Yes, I work at a tyre shop. That is why punctures too close to the sidewall should not be repaired.
