just my experience.. I know hotcoupe had a straight system with no silencing from the dpf back sounded like a jet fighter! I have supersrprint system from dpf back with the reasonator box deleted this has tortuous and flattened pipes so getting rid of that def helps flow the car sounds more deep throated but not loud or unpleasant.. if you remove the dpf it adds a bit more power and flows better but you hear the turbo whistle which to me is not nice but some like it. you cant get a good noise form a diesel no matter what you do but if you want a better flow id just remove the reasonator box and maybe the rear boxes. one thing to bear in mind is going to an exhaust place and having a custom system means there will be no technical tests done on the system regarding flow and resistance and it is possible the new system will be little different to the original
