No power when WOT from standstill

Happened again today, if I stomp on the accelrator and floor it the car doesn't respond, it literally crawls and very slowly picks up speed. If I back off the throttle it accelerates off normally. what the hell is going on here. Not throwing codes or anything and crank on start is normal so dont think it's a failing HPFP. Any ideas what might be causing this?

...have you tried logging?

Log will tell you if it's sensing pedal input, but not applying throttle.

Could be a traction control issue.

...or your car might just be lazy?

Nah seems sluggish when flooring when driving. it but is fine if you apply 80% throttle but when wot its almost as if the engine is flooded. Is more noticeable from a stand still. Dangerous actually if you are in an emergency. Logging on weekend would be great but I need to get a cable and hook it up to the JB4 before I can log.

My straight-line acceleration off the mark is so much better with DSC off. Give it a go but as the person above has mentioned, could be dangerous. Tread carefully (no pun intended).

[QUOTE=_ink;17222574]How are your RPM's responding during this?[/QUOTE

Revs don't rise either, not like the car is reving hard but hardly moving. It's almost like the cars flooded and burns off the fuel slowly gaining revs and speed. Takes a good 5 to 10 secs to slowly ramp up. As I said only when I stomp on the accelerator and floor it from a standstill Otherwise seems to pull just fine

Does it make a difference when you disable the Jb4?

Haven't tried that yet. I'll give it a go when I get back to Melb on the weekend. What do you think the JB4 might be doing?

Well, my train of thought is there no point going into logging if the issue doesn't present itself with the jb4 disabled? Just a process of isolation.
