DMTL pump location on 2006 E92?

So my car threw code 2A13 something to do with DMTL Pump.
I ordered a pump today and went to replace it but there isn't one on the car?

I've searched every corner of the internet some say it's behind the left some say the right, I removed both wheels/wheel well linings to check but I couldn't find it.

Does anyone know where it is on the earlier models?

All the images I see of it they have 3 connections into a large carbon canister and DMTL pump... the 3 connections on my car run into a little cylinder with nothing else attached

Just called BMW parts and provided my vin, he says they only have the carbon canister listed no DMTL pump for my car. So I wonder what the 2A13 code means...

Fehler: DMTL Diagnostic Module Tank leakage diagnosis, system failure / DM-TL module Code: 2A17

1 day after the pump gas flash. You have this don't you? I wonder if its linked?

Wow! I suggest clearing the codes and seeing if they come back.
It does say after the flash you'll get a bunch of errors which may go away after driving.

Yeh massive list. I don't think any are too serious but let's see if they come back.

Car is running well, but the boost of the flash was too much for the fuel i had so have had to switch to jb4 boost instead, but it still goes hard.

Hey Koncept,

I can't PM you because your inbox is full.

You still getting your DMTL pump error?

I might have worked out the issue. See this thread over at n54tech for the deets

Basically, we dont have a DMTL pump as we have Euro spec cars which don't have this emissions device. Because we're using a modified US pec Bin, the car thinks we have this pump. Instead of using BMS's US Bins on their own we should be changing our original Bins and leaving things like the data that tells the car it doesnt have a DMTL pump as is.

Although strangely my DMTL error has gone away as of day 4. ?? So maybe i'll just leave it till it comes back but i'm pretty sure ive worked out how to update my own Bin.

When you flash your car with a US version this is what happens.
You need to go into tunerpro and turn it off.
I couldn't figure it out so i paid 200 us for a pro tune and never looked back.
