Changed the dipped and main beam bulbs over the weekend (HIDS), now getting Moisture build up in headlight.
What have i done ? And what do i need to check? RPITA to change so before taking wheel off and inner wheel arch cover, might be handy to know what i did wrong so i can look for it! Thanks

mine are very condensated at the moment after all the wet weather we have had but mine have holes cut in the rear main beam covers where the previous owner had fitted aftermarket HID kit. ive replaced with standard bulbs but i guess letting the damp air in is and then the heat from the engine are causing condensation to form on the coldest part...the lense?

A complete guess..... you've not put the covers back on correctly and you may have a small gap letting damp cold air in which is causing the issue. Edit:- Just noticed Borinous was hinting at this might be the issue

I had moisture in one headlight during the summer. Spent a lot of time with a hairdryer drying it out. Checked the cover and seals and all seemed to be ok. Then it rained a few hours later and the moisture was back.
Turned out to be a hairline crack on the headlight which was letting moisture through and causing the condensation. But agree, check the covers first as its likely to be loose |

Exactly this. The dealer will only replace them if the car is still within its 3 years manufactures warranty, (it's not covered under AUC).
