Whining Noise at High Rev's
Hey Folks,
Was wondering if any of you have noticed a particular whining noise when driving in higher range RPM's (eg. 3500-4000). This noise certainly hasn't been around forever and is even more noticeable now that the weather is colder. Essentially, when I'm driving the car in M-mode and rev the RPM's up to 3500ish and let of the throttle, I hear this whining/old school sire type of noise. Any idea what could be causing this? I've taken the car to BMW who obviously wrote it off as "normal" and also to a local tuner shop which also couldn't find any issues. Car: 2011 E92 335i 6AT Mods: JB4 VRSF Charge pipe

Is it the turbo sound? It is much more pronounced with an intake on.
