i dont know what your budget is, but you could always stack a cobb with the jb4. get the best of both worlds dont talk yourself outta the meth route though, i love that stuff! wish i would have installed it sooner. transforms these cars.

I plan on running it this spring, mostly for cooling and to keep the engine clean. I already run an ethanol mix so the octane isn't going to do much.

Probably going with devils own, activating it on a simple boost switch.

As much as the octane is important a big power adder of methanol that E85 doesn't have is the Intake Air Cooling benefits.

Cobb does not have OTS maps for meth.
If you plan on getting Cobb, you will need to get your car custom tuned to get max benefit.

Yeah thats the impression I am getting. I am curious though if the cobb tune will have the ability to disable the meth or not if you switch. For example I go out for a drive and want it activated so to speak. Then I go out the next day and plug the cobb in to change the tune to a non-meth tune. Does the meth still flow?

The Cobb tune, custom or not, won't be able to control the flow of methanol. a "meth" map would just be a more aggressive tune. The exception to this would be if you have a boost switch set to activate the flow at xPSI and your non-meth map keeps you below x. Not a great way to control it.

If you have any questions about N55 tuning please email me: WedgePerformance@gmail.com

We are in development of the N55 map at the time and are seeing impressive E40 numbers which would also allow us to do a meth map also. Dyno with logs and customer write-up should follow shortly.
