Remus Powerizer for 335D 373bhp?

Sort of summed it up in the title, I've seen adverts for the Remus Powerizer on my local mappers facebook page recently and after doing a little bit of research the figures from the Remus Powerizer for a standard 335D seems to say that it goes from the 286bhp standard too 373bhp and 683ft/lbs of torque which are bloody ridiculous figures for a 'tuning box' type application. Can anyone back up these figures or tell me if these are legitimately the sort of power gains I can expect from a Powerizer? if so, why don't we all have one? I was quoted that sort of power from a 335D with map, straight through exhaust, EGR and DPF delete so how can it have such crazy gains from just a tuning box or are Remus spouting rubbish?

http://www.remusuk.com/powerizer.asp?pman=BMW&pmod=266

I've been led to believe in the past Remus are a pretty reasonable 'no-nonsense' company? But I can't find much in the way of write ups for this exact product. Anyone got one or come across them before?

This will be power at the flywheel and not at the wheels though.

Looking at maybe 373*.80 = 298.4 whp

Are you sure? Because the stated 286bhp is at the wheels isn't it so it would be odd to give a standard at the wheels figure and then compare it to a after modification at the flywheel figure? and 298bhp would be hardly any improvement at all, or negligible improvement.

I've emailed Remus asking for more information, but thought It'd be worth asking.

I've just fitted a DTUK tuning box to my 330 D, which quotes 280 bhp my standard is 231 bhp it feels a lot quicker and more responsive and goes really well but i'd be surprized if its given my car 50 bhp and DTUK are well known..

on the Remus website it claims gains of between 6 and 25% bhp....

seems a bit odd to claim such a wide difference in possible gains

286 is engine output not at the wheels that would be about 40 less

The difference is basically the cost of all the post flywheel drivetrain weight. Weight of transmission, shaft, diff, wheels. Generally the loss on e92's is around 15% (*.85), add a little extra for an automatic.

I doubt you will get 370bhp from that box alone. More like +30/40.
