Options or Alternatives for Sliver Hex Trim

So I have never really liked the sliver hex trim on my car with its color combo.

What have people done who are in a similar situation or what would you recommend? Wrapping?

I've also just ordered a performance handbrake, gear selector and gator which does have some sliver in it so maybe that will improve it, but I really don't like the hex.

Thought's?

There was a thread on here ages ago about it but i cant track it down.

I also have hex trim and it cant be wrapped.

A few members have painted there's.

Another member rubbed his down back to smooth then wrapped it, i thought i would give this a go and went out a bought a black and decker mouse sander and it took me 4 hours and 10 sheets of sandpaper to rub down 1 door trim, it did wrap well in carbon fibre but im now stuck with 1 carbon door trim as it would just take forever.

I would either get it sprayed or buy a smooth/brushed alliminum set get that wrapped then sell yours.

Am i right in saying the performance stuff is alcantara?
Ive seen people wrap interior trims in that and it does look good would probably suit your interior colour aswel

Buy a knackered old trim set (smooth) and paint it or wrap it to whatever you want it to be.
Funnily enough I have a knackered old trim set right here needs a bit of work but could be a nice little project (sale pitch)

Lovely looking interior you've got but I do agree about the hex trim, never been my fav either.
As Reece has said Some have wrapped them in alcantara and it does look good, not sure how easy it is tho using fabric instead of vinyl

Thanks guys, food for thought.

If any hex trim owners want to throw up some pics of what they have done it would be appreciated.

That was my trims in that thread.I ended up trying to wrap them after doing them black but it started to come off at the edges and when it was in the sunlight loads of bubbles appeared.peeled it off then lacquered the black paint even more and ended up looking even better than originally!Guy that bought my car was a bit confused tho lol

Check out my thread here; I have a similar colour combo.

You can see my gloss black gear knob and a little of the gloss black trims which replaced the hex-cube.
