The KWV2's have only rebound adjustment and no compression adjustment. The V3's have seperate and independent adjustment and control of valving values. It appears than the Tein's act like the PSS9's in that rebound and compression are tied together in either direction. Glad you like your set up. Your front drop looks like .50" lower than stock and would be very street and driveway friendly. |

Nice, Hope you like them!
They actually used my 335 to develope these for our cars. They are great guys at Tein.... took my car for 2 days did all their messurment sand everything, gave me the car back with Stech springs... a month later went back and they had my car overnight and picked it up with my brand new set of CO's (same ones in this thread) I have always Loved Teins.... they have used 3 of my cars now and I have had them on almost every car I have ever tuned... alot of people on the board say "oh they are for jap cars"... well no they are for all cars and they have been great on my Audi's and now my BMW! I havnt taken the 335 to the road course, but on all my Audi's that I have had out on the course..Teins handled great and very aggressive. It is nice to have the adjustable dampering as well. and for people that say Teins are "loud"... i do not know what your talking about. ahah. Glad you got them Jon, youll love em! |

Here is a quick comparo article of 4 susepensions at the Streets of Willow racetrack. Just look at the lap times and the other data they gathered and you can see the Tein was awesome. Althought the comparo was done with E46 M3s this is still very relative since the stock M3 and 335 are very close.
1. Tein SS-P 2. JIC magic 3. KV V3 4. Stock |

In regard to the Eurocar tests, I would expect a bigger difference in performance (lap times) in comparison with the stock 335 as compared with the stock M, because the stock 335 suspension is more luxury oriented. A set of Teins (or other coilover) will make a bigger dif on the 335 than the M.

My pref at the moment is for the Bilstein B-16 ride control system, but that is not based on experience with any of these systems on the 335. All the major players (Bilstein, Koni, KW, Sachs, TCKline, Tein) look pretty good.
