rubbing with fenders rolled

Hey everyone,

So I'm currently running 245/35/19 on a 10.5 ET25 wheel set on the rears. Full passengers I'm rubbing still even with my fenders rolled, if I did a 245/30/19 instead would this fix my issue?

Note: my tires are also stretched

Theoretically, yes.

Other alternatives:
- Slight pull
- Adding just a bit more negative camber

Shave 4-5mm off the back of the hub face of the rear rims! Any engineering shop can do this for minimal cost

Also, be sure to check if its rubbing on the guard or the guard liner! Mine scrubs but its just on the plastic liner

I would say that the rubbing goes away with added negative camber or just deal with it and dont take passengers.

I'm rubbing with 265/35/18 in the rear with 18x9.5et25 and I was told that increasing negative camber closer to -3 would resolve my rubbing.

But when I spoke to my suspension shop they mentioned that adjusting the camber on our car with the stock bolts doesn't actually pull the top of the wheel in, is there any truth to this?

No. The top of the wheel clearly goes inward. Just look at these few examples.

But i would say fender roll would solve your rubbing. Unless you have done it already.

You have to determine where you're rubbing. That's a bit more aggressive than my 11" +25 since I'm not an LCI. I have about -3 camber and 265 tires. My tires clear fine but my wheels will hit the fender (actually it's where the fender meets the bumper) if there is enough compression.

+1 camber gives a good amount of clearance.

I wouldn't reccomend pulling and op already has alot of stretch for the wheel specs.

Also have you done anything to the fender/ bumper bracket. It's one of the places it rubs no matter what kinda fender roll. In this picture behind red arrows you can feel the bump

Also i have 18x10.5 et15 with 255/35/18, which extend 2mm more than your wheels. Fenders rolled and part of the bracket shaved. Camber is around -3 and i don't have rubbing issues.

Those examples are using the stock bolt to adjust camber? They seem pretty aggressive. I am already rolled but I am pretty sure I am just rubbing where the fender meets the bumper, I am going to put some tape there and see.

Any easy ways to determine where else I could be rubbing?

Not sure but you can get your rear camber close to -3 with stock factory adjustments and it's visible for sure.

Tape is one good idea or chalk and if there is any markings at tyre or inside fenders.

My rear fenders are rolled and I tapered down the last 6 inches of the fender. Where the bumper and fender meet is as thin as possible. I used the tool linked below. I still rub on the part that is rolled, but nothing to worry about.
