Valet curbed my car... New bumper?

Due to valet curbing my car badly enough to crack it, insurance is stepping in to replace my front bumper. I currently have the stock sport package bumper (which is not the aero bumper, right?).

Would it be weird if I had them put on an m sport bumper, and I'll just pay the cost difference? I want to do the m sport rear bumper eventually, but not yet (other priorities). Is the m sport front bumper lower than the sport bumper, to the point where it would look weird to do only the front m sport? Thanks

It will look fine. A lot of people do the msport bumper conversion. However, it's more than just a bumper swap, you will need additional parts.

Msport looks good but my experience has been it gets scraped up. You have to be super careful when pulling up to parking bumper. Driveway with any angle to it scrapes. Honestly, if I had it to do over, I wouldn't have gotten msport

Wow, I didn't know the m sport front was that much lower. One of the things I like about my car is that I can take driveways no problem... Driving a car where you have to take driveways sideways is super annoying. But the m sport bumper looks so much better...Hmmmm....

Front parking sensors would have been nice. I love my Msport though. Just pretend I'm driving a Suburban and don't park that close.

Looks like you're located in Long Beach OP. Check out ABS Auto Boy Repair & Paint in South El Monte, grab yourself a replica m-tech bumper and pocket the rest of the dough the insurance will offer you for a stock.
