How to test for leaky Fuel Injector
Per my previous tread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=misfire I was getting misfires on 1-3 cylinders. Problem was the #1 injector only. It was leaking. Is there a DIY on how to manually test an injector to determine which is leaking since the codes indicated all 3 cylinders... Any suggestions that get beyond the codes and actually get your hands dirty? Thanks steve

I was told to pull spark plugs and see which ones are wet that would determine a leaking fuel injector,
FYI I just had same issue paid BMW 2800$ to fix and the issue was o2 sensor the whole time... Now they won't replace o2 sensor without extra charge even tho they misdiagnosed it |

no codes will say which injector is leaking if one is. Usually you get multiple misfire codes. Anyway as mentioned above pulling the plugs after turning the engine off is the best way. If one is still wet or smells like fuel, that's the one.
