If you have had your car detailed or any form of paint correction i would not be putting a cover on and off repeatedly frequently, as you are just going to damage the costly work.
If leaving for some time say over a winter period then if me, i would clean, treat and then cover the car!

It really depends where you're parking it, if well off the road & away from said tossers, it will probably be ok, but if it's easily seen & accessible a BMW cover will likely make the car a bigger target.

Complete waste of time and money if your going to put it over a dirty car.
Everytime you would put it on when dirty, that dirt and grit will build up on the inside of the cover and sliding it on/off the car 3/4 times a week your going to end up scratching the car making it worse. You say you have a garage why not park it in there? If its got stuff in buy a shed put all your bits in there and park your car in the garage, will cost you more buying a cover and fixing scratched paint than a cheap shed

Honestly, a cover is pretty much the worst idea unless its perfectly clean, as you're just rubbing the dirt against the car with wind, taking on/off, and the local felines. |

Yeah, I fancy a new car cover - let me know when you try it out for the first time... ;-)
Seriously now... I would not bother with a car cover unless you have a big problem with lots of bird sh!t landing on your car. If this were the case then I'd probably use one if it was a weekend car. |

I think you'll get bored of fucking about with it to be honest.
I had one, and used it a handful of times. Picture it's been pissing down, and you need to go to work or something. You have a soggy, wet car cover over the motor that not only do you need to take off without getting yourself in the same state, you then also need to put it somewhere - probably to dry out, as you're not going to want to roll it up and stick in a bag. If you've got an old classic and no garage to store it in, then I see the point. Car covers on a daily are more hassle than their work IMO, unless you have no choice but to park under a sap-spitting tree or something. |

I use one to keep attention away from my Ferrari, its black, tied down underneath the car and padlocked at the back.
The car only gets used once a month if i'm lucky, but taking it off/on every weekend would be a pain. I always use quick detailer before covering it and a wet cover is placed in a bucket in the kitchen. I will have a double garage by the end of March, so will probabaly ditch the cover as its served it purpose. |
