Driver side strange engine noise
Last night I hit a pretty good pot hole (I'm on coilovers so it was pretty rough) on the highway. Weather has been shit in my area so I couldnt swerve to avoid the pot hole. When I stopped for gas I realized a new noise in my engine bay. I'm aware of the lifter tick and waste gate rattle so when I heard this noise I was like wtf? I popped the hood and used my phone light to inspect the belt area for any slippage or debris. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. The noise is consistent at lower rpms (idle to 2/3k). And it has stopped and reappeared during city driving. I looked under the good again this morning with my shop light and can't really find the source or any plastic rubbing. It seems to be coming from under the intake but I can't find any visual evidence. This video replicates the noise I'm experiencing with my N54. I will put it on jack stands and see if I can find anything from below. Any tips will be appreciated.
