With all the positive feedback Jeff gets, I will definitely get my lighting upgrades from him.

I do have a question though. What's the deal with the fans? What will happen if they break? What is the expected MTBF of these, and would they have a lower life compared to a fanless setup, or are they about the same?

Got my kit and installed it today. Looks great! Driver's side was a b*tch to install, but at least it wasn't as bad as the pre-LCI installs I've seen.

There is protection built in. With the fans these are expected to last much longer then any other competing offering without fans. We had the fans implemented to purposely increase life, the fans were not actually needed. We wanted an upgrade that lasted longer then the competition and set itself apart from the competition. Also with fans, output is increased because as LED typically heat up output is lost. Since these new 40W with fans don't get hot the output remains consistent during the entire time of illumination.

For the record, in your night pic, I can only assume your white balance is off on your camera because I know these lights are pure white. Just figured I'd point that out before future customers think these angel eyes are blue haha.
