I just picked up a 2012 335I with nav and internal hard drive. While it is very convenient to have the on board music storage, I have experience one very annoying characteristic. I loaded several gigs of music from a USB flash drive onto the internal drive. I then set the option to "Random" play back. However, every time I turn off and restart the car, the option reverts back to the default of being off. It is a real pain to have to bring back up the option screen to reset random play back mode every time. I did some searching on this forum and the manual, but no luck on seeing how to lock the setting.
Anyone else experience this? Does any know how to lock the setting?
Is this something that can be set by dealer or some coding device like BMWhat?
