Genuine BMW M Style (ZHP) Weighted Short Shift Knob Installed
Hello All,
what a wonderful shift knob totally worth it, it definitely changes the feel of how the car shifts not to mentioned the materials feel much richer and luxurious then the stock shifter. I just wanted to post my experience with this shift knob. I have a 2007 335i with sport package 6 speed manual. After 8 years my stock shift was warned out so I decided to purchase a new one. The above mentioned shift knob got stellar reviews thus I decided on this one. Installation: I looked it up on youtube it seemed fairly easy so I was like I can do it. However that was not the case. I am not a small guy, 6'2ft, 230Lb, fairly strong as I do some construction work on the side and it would not budge. anyway I created my own tool with some tape and a straight crowbar and a large Wrench. Used a wood log on the floor mat for the crowbar to rest on and to use for leverage and came right off, hahaha anyway I figure I would share my experience!!! Bought it from Tischer BMW best price and free shipping

I have the same knob on mine I installed to replace the tall silver one it came with, and I love it compared to the light stocker. I just dropped it into 4th and pulled backwards and up with consistent pressure and it came off.

Great shift knob. I picked one up a while back and was surprised at the difference it made. It sits lower than the oem knob and feels great. Stupid overpriced but all the rest of them are too.

yes the car needs to be detailed. I live in the North East so its hard to keep it clean. However tomorrow I am doing the following.
* AA charge pipe and BOV * AFE stage 2 Intake * Putting on summer rims and tires Once the snow is fully melted I am getting the car detailed, hopefully in a week

it most probably will work but I would check with someone that knows 100% sure if there are any differences that would make it in operable....

just bustin ballz...
hey man, I know how bad it is, but I have always rocked the winter car. start off small (Civic), beater and work your way up. It really takes a lot of abuse off the BMW. Quote:
