uk 335d sluggish after 60mph

Hi guys im abit confused with this one.. My car seems fine and pulls well up to around 60/70 then it tends to hang on to the gears very long and go alot slower then normal could it be a boost leak or somthing? Maybe fuel filter? Its a 2008 e92 335d had new turbo actuators inlet mani red boost pipe swirl flaps all fitted around 18 months ago as the car completely lost power. Help much appreciated guys.

Any codes? Set or pending? Are you monitoring any of the parameters?

I would not rush to that conclusion unless you are planning to delete the DPF anyway. For the suggestions on the places in UK, you are better off in a regional forum. There is a technical one as well there.

surprised to hear a UK DPF issue unless the previous owned was running supermarket diesel all the time. Shell vpower Nitro all the way in these. It must be quality ULS diesel with clean burn and less soot. Now we are on winter diesel I have started using Archoil6800 to combat the power loss I felt and its much better again. I don't think the power difference is felt on an unmodded car but I definitely felt a drop off in power. Best ready your codes and see what the chap on here say. Do you have an extended warranty ? worth checking if the DPF is covered. A forced regen may help but onec sorted remember to use the best diesel out there and NEVER cheap supermarket stuff

The thing is i had a new dpf also 18 months ago so it should be covered under the two years parts warranties. Also the car is remapped by the previous owner so bmw told me when it went in which i was unaware of. So maybe it could be the dodgy map. Its deffinatly not poor quality fuel as i live next to a chell garage and all i use is v power nitro

If you have an oiled air filter try cleaning the Maf sensor

Just to let you know i fixed the problem.. Bassicly my dpf was not regenerating because i rarely filled up over half a tank and it will not go into regen mode unless a minimum of half is in there. So i filled her up an took her for a long drive on the motorway keeping above 70 . cleared the codes with bmwhat and they havnt come back

I thought it was in my head, I thought my car wasn't feeling as responsive is it because of the weather change?
And today my fault code cc id 49 came up which is something to do with the dpf?
