Will I be ok with the following set-up?
I just ordered 4 225/40 18 ContiExtremeContact A/S tires for my 162s.
My concern is that the rear wheels are bigger than the tires, and I plan on running these all year. Will I be ok? Will the smaller tires in the back lower the car at that point? Affect performance? I don't take the car to the track, but am a spirited driver... The alternative would be Goodyear F1 A/S, in the proper sizes... but installed, they would cost an additional $262 ($810 total... which seems like a lot for tires) I will spend the extra $$ if i have to, but if the Conti's can be stretched w/o a problem then i'll stick with them. feel free to chime in...

I'll be fine with 225/40 on the rear 162 wheel.
BTW, the 225/40 is not smaller than the 255/35 you used to have, only narrower.
