MHD flasher issue

I just flashed the OTS E40 map and left my jb4 in map 0 but I got stock boost targets and then an underboost code. I wouldn't imagine that I'd have to physically remove the jb4 from the car? Do I?

JB4 ISO is not 100% passthrough. You can try switching to 4/2 I think it is to run DME boost targets, but you may have trouble logging with anything other than JB4 with it installed. Best bet would be to take it out to eliminate any interference, especially if you're a beta tester.

Yeah I was thinking that's probably the best bet. I guess it's time to buy the logging app too. Haha not really sure why I paid for this since the stacked jb4 + backend was so great but I'm hoping for some improvements. Have you personally run any of the MHD maps?

No, I ran JB4 for a couple months, been on Cobb since. I ran JB4 with Cobb for about a week though and ran across the similar issues. I took the JB4 out and it's been sitting in the garage since. I'm still not sure if anything new tuning wise (tables/XDFs) is available on MHD or if it's mostly just a new flashing option.

I believe they have new tables that I don't believe cobb had access to, if not now, they will soon I'm sure. Just ran some logs with MHD with their OTS E40 map and it seemed pretty strong. Butt dyno would say it was about equal to jb4 map 7 with a backend flash. Need to log and refine more.

I'm just happy that we can now build standalone bin maps in tuner pro. The jb4 2nd gear boost limiting is one of the features that is making it tough for me to go full standalone flash.

I saw some mention of race logic, but if they don't have it for IS bins, wouldn't do me any good anyway. Is there a table list of the XDFs somewhere? I'll keep an eye on it, but it would have to offer some real useful capability to sway me from Cobb+custom tune.

There's not much I miss about the JB4. I liked gauge hijacking and boost limiters can useful, but I never used them.

Yeah the gauge hijacking was cool and the boost limiting is really important if you're running really aggressive maps (me) - looks like if I switch from the jb4 my first purchase will be some drag radials for the rear Hahaha. These MHD OTS maps are now joke... Very powerful.

And I have always been in the JB4 camp from day one. I have run hundreds of variants of the backend flashes and have yet to see post shift timing on my 6AT as solid as the OTS E40 map from MHD. Glad I took the leap and joined the beta group.

Piggys backs still have their place. If you are still on stock turbos though its hard to say if that is the place for them. The guys who like the gauge hijack its neat but its not information I have time to pay attention to when using the power from the device. Ive had 2 JB4's G4 and G5iso. Great product but a tuner can make the same if not better gains. Its all up to the tuner and the user.

If you are on the Beta like I am, remove the JB4 for now. Let the tune do its job, help us make it smooth by logging what Martial needs to see without outside interference.

As per BMS you can disconnect two of the small connectors and that will eliminate the tuning functions of the JB4 yet still allow gauge hijacking and other features.

Not to hijack but do you know if this is possible with Procede as well?
Running MHD flash and would love to get boost gauge back on fuel again.

Not sure if this is MHD specific. Cobb has the same problem with the G5 ISO.
I had to completely remove mine in order for the COBB to work properly on its own.
If both are turned on, they work without a problem. But once i put Jb4 on map 0, i started getting an engine light.
