Strange misfiring at WOT fourth gear seeking advice
I just walnut blasted my intake valves and it runs great, however, if I'm cruising in 4th gear about 3k rpm and floor it, it gets no power and shutters and throws a check engine code, like a cylinder is missing, no limp mode. Check engine light goes off after a couple minutes and returns to full power. While the check engine light is on, it runs horrible and sounds like its missing. I figured it was coils so i bought all 6 brand new bosch coils. And it seemed like it fixed it, but right before i was about to pull in my driveway it did it again. The check engine light never stays on long enough for me to get it checked. Spark plugs were changed about 6-8 months ago. It sat for about 3 weeks, i doubt the gas is bad. I can do 1st and 2nd gear wot pulls and it runs great, only when i am cruising at low rpm and give it a decent amt of gas does this happen.

Hookup your laptop to the JB4 and read codes. If they're not there, disable auto clear (speedo 1-tach 4) and try to capture the issue in a datalog, then read the code.

As soon as the car throws a code with the jb4 in put in on map 0 or have auto clear off. Then you should be able to pull a code, before you shut it off hook up to laptop & read codes and your good to go .
