17" run flats vs 18" non rft
I have an e92 330i M sport on 19" run flats. I'm moving to Ireland and the roads there will kill my wheels. I previously had a 330d M sport on 18" with run flats and they were too extreme for Ireland.
The 2 types of alloy I'm looking at are 18" MV3 or 194 style 17". So my dilemma is whether to stick with run flats but go to 17" wheels or try 18" with non run flats?

I knew someone would say that! And you're probably right. I only want run flats as I've had 2 punctures before and if they hadn't been run flats it would have been a right pain.
As an aside (although it might help with my decision) I think my car car may have standard suspension. I've started a new thread about this though. So if I wanted to swap my 19" MV4s for 17" 194 style alloys where would be my best bet? Here, eBay, Gumtree? Might be best to sell them independently of a swap. Any advice gratefully accepted! |
