Exhaust question
Just got the rogue ikon muffler installed on my car, but wish it was a little louder. Anyhow was wondering if it would be louder to delete the resonator or delete the secondary muffler. Sorry for the newb question but you never learn untill you ask 😉

Either remove the resonator or the 2ndary cats. There is only one muffler. aFe sells race pipes that are plug n play for replace the cats.

Res delete will make it louder. It's a little too much between 2-3k rpm in my taste but it may be fine for you. I'm considering putting the res back on because of that.

you will never learn if you don't search the same topic that comes up every week
in all seriousness though start with a resonator delete and then hack out the secondaries. But if you do that(secondaries), you may fail your inspection.

I've heard removing the resonator will make it sound a bit raspier as well as louder, whereas the 2ndary cats will add some volume (not as much as resonator delete) but not get raspy.
Perhaps others can confirm this, all depends on your preference I suppose.
