The tint shop, Auto Image, or Boss audio in NJ for Tints
So I wanted to get some recommendations for anyone that has been to these tint shops if they are good with the dot matrix. They all have reasonable prices for coupe tints all around except windshield but my only worry is the dot matrix I don't want to have to keep getting it fixed. I've seen most recommend Top of the line but also heard they are pretty expensive for tinting. If anyone would be able to tell me how much they charged as well would be nice!

I only recommend one shop Advanced Solar Control in Toms River. IMO, you get what you pay for.
In the summer time----Forget about it. This guy has lambos and ferraris coming from all over the East Coast for the job. |

I'm sure you can find a good deal with good work but Auto Image would NOT be one. I've heard horror stories and seen some pretty terrible work they've done not just regarding tints either. |

Tint tech in east Brunswick nj. This guy runs his shop out of his garage but his work is top notch, will install the felt for you too. Pass on Boss Audio in Perth Amboy, long story on that one but I'll never go back there.

Yea, I've been searching a lot through different forums but most just recommend 1 or 2 lol never mention other guys. I guess I can pass on boss and auto image.
Toms river is pretty far for me, about an hour or more drive. East Brunswick is right around the corner actually. Hows the work over there?

I highly recommend you call him! He also does more than tints - protection film, detailing, paint correction... His work speaks for itself. |

Hah, I forgot about his M3! That thing is serious.
Don at Advanced Solar like the other guy said is the ONLY person I will have my cars tinted by. I've been taking my cars and recommending him for almost 10 years now. The trip to TR is well worth it for the quality of the job you get |

I have been paying a premium for tint for years. $350-$400 for tint that will never fade with all the proper felt. Doesn't matter, my tint faded and scratched. No point.
I retinted my car in the Bronx for $60 and the guy did a awesome job. Still looks nice has not faded. Even came with lifetime warranty lmao! They have tinted a few friends E92 no issues with dot matrix or anything. Tint is all about upsell. |
