17x9 fitment question
First time poster here, I recently purchased an 07' 328 x drive and am looking to upgrade from the scrawny set of 16" wheels. I found a nice used set of 17x9 ASA sr1 that can be had for a good price. The seller does not know the offset, but had them installed on a 325 xi. I have a couple of questions, first will I have any clearance issues, and what size tires should I run. This is a dd and I won't be running it at the track. Thanks in advance.

You should be totally fine, but it would be nice to know the offset, but since they are coming from another e90 the offset can't be that "wrong". Here is nice example of 17x9 wheels with offset 30 and 245/40/17 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=930454, in my opinion that car would look better with 10mm spacer to rear. You can also use 235/45/17 tyres.
