Headlight switch Position 3
In Position 3 for the headlight switch, (The position with the 'A' in the headlight symbol) should the dipped beams only come on in low ambient lighting conditions????
My dipped beams along with my Angels are on all the time i am driving not matter if daulight or night time? Should this be? if not how do i change it back to auto sensing? Thanks

That should be the automatic headlight position and works fine for me, the lights are off during the day, but on when the daylight dims or it rains.
If you have DRL's active this may explain it |

You can program daylights on or off through computer in car.

Ignition key
I had this the other week. Suddenly the day light running lights were on all the time, every time the engine was running.
I looked in the handbook and there is a procedure for setting daylight running lights on and off - then that selection is then programmed to the ignition key you are using at the time. What happen to me, is that I'd inadvertently picked up the second (spare) key, which the previous owner must have pre-programmed to have the daylight running lights on. |
