Jb4 map 5 low boost

NO LOGS UNTIL SATURDAY.
Thought I'd clear that up because I know what everyone is going to say. I'm aware logs will help determine my issue I just want to post a thread before I forget. Can't log until Saturday as I'm out of town for work.
Car has VRSF dp's and IC, bms dci and jb4 g5 iso. When I put on map 5 and do a few 3rf gear wot runs to adapt boost will drop to max 11-12 psi. A few times I have had a misfire when boost is around 15-16 when you first turn on map 5. Now I've read before that chevron 94 (Canadian gas) has caused timing pulls for some people. I use this gas. The only other gas locally worth using is shell 91. I don't have access to e85. I haven't pulled codes but will Saturday too.
For now I'm just curious if anyone else has had issues with chevron 94? I'm suspicious it's a coil as my plugs were done 20k KMs ago but if people have trouble with chev 94 ill jump over to shell and try that.
TIA.

If you suspect it could be the gas, which I agree could be a factor in your boost and timing, I'd try switching to shell 91 first and see if anything improves, if it does not, you can eliminate gas as a factor.

When were your plugs last changed?

Roger that. Ill try to get logs with both gas as I've still got a 1/4 tank of 94. What should I show on the logs?

i had this exact issue for a while.
my spark plugs and injectors were changed not too long ago but my coilpacks were not.
i also could not run map 7 at all without misfires.
just swapped coilpacks and im back up to 15+ PSI and can run map 7 with e85 no problem.
Id swap out coilpacks and go from there

had problems with Chev 94 Oct, esso 91 as well. I am in Victoria BC, and have been getting best performance from husky 94 Oct(it has 10% ethanol).
shell n petrocan 91 are also much better than esso n chevron.
