Radio Rediness, what is it?

I've searched this forum and the owners manual. All I see is Radio Rediness this and that but no mention of what Radio Rediness is or what it does

?

Can someone please explain....

It's the same as selecting "Aux" on a normal ignition switch. It turns everything on (radio, nav, i-drive, windows, etc.) except the engine. To use it just insert the key fob (or get into the car with the fob if you have CA) and hit the Start button without putting your foot on the brake/clutch.
