weight difference?

I may be getting some new wheels and the new ones would be about 8 pounds less each. Would I notice much difference in acceleration or other things?

You will feel more of a difference as opposed to seeing more speed on your 1320 foot time slip.

Rotational weight is worse than dead weight in the car. 8 lbs per wheel times 4 wheels - 32 lbs. There will be a difference in the acceleration. Weight becomes inertia, and that must be overcome to accelerate the object. So, that much less rotational mass will produce a measureable result on the 1/4 mile.

Won't really affect top end much.
