How to put the E93 roof into service position?

Just wondering how to put the roof into service position so I can lubricate all the seals with Krytox Oil.

I know from working for VW for the EOS, but the roof setup is different on the E93.

Thanks in advance!

It seems so simple to me, just put the roof halfway up?

I have had my E93 for 7 years now. When it was 1 year old it developed a roof squeak. I had a tube of silicon lubricant bought for pushfit waste fittings. I put the lightest smear on the rubber seal and it has been silent for the last 6 years. Paying over the top prices for so-called special lubricants is a waste of money.

Thanks chaps! The roof motors can be damaged if not in the correct position which is why I wanted to check.

The oil hasnt cost me a penny as I work for VW so its all good!
