Anyone have info or experience with these rotors?

http://brakeperformance.com/site/bra...9419&ad=google

Just curious if anyone has ever used there rotors. I was looking into a cross drilled slotted set but didn't want to spend the big money on a brembo kit.

I don't mean to assume (makes an ass out of you and me ) but the reason people dont just buy rotors is because you're actually losing stopping power in the real world. Track wise and appearance wise its a plus because not only do people say, "oooooo his car must be hooked up!" But trackers say, "oooooo i bet he runs great times in auto-x." The only problem is though if you dont do serious tracking then gettings these rotors wont befit you, but actualy hurt the life of the pad and the stopping force they have. Reason being that its less surface area to get friction to stop with. The reason Brembo's cost so much is the calipar has a lot more stopping force than OEM calipers (plus the brake lines are SS, that helps too )

On an other note, looking at the close up design on these rotors, i see a flaws: one being that the slotted groove goes all the way to the edge of the rotor. This is a bad thing because cracking and many other bad things can occur.

If you only want this for the looks and dont care about losing a bit of stopping power, its a great price and fits you. But if you're getting this for performance? I would say to reconsider

Both Powerslot and DBA have rotors with slots that run out, so not sure how much of an issue cracking would be. It would be nice to hear from someone who is actually familiar with this brand.

Find out who makes the rotors, i.e. Zimmerman, ate, balo, brembo etc. These companies dont cast these rotors.

I got it done at Edge, took about 6 hours. I’ve hesitated mentioning it on here because I kinda feel bad that you had to give it up, but it’s been the best money I’ve ever spent on a car. It’s like the car was always meant to have one.

If we ever meet up at an event I'll let you take it for a spin.

I called them up and got the following. These are manufactured here in the States by the company. Slots/dimples are machined by them. Not too much info on the quality Steel other then that the material and process are ISO compliant. Lifetime warranty on warping and they have not had problems with cracking. Apparently the blanks are cast, and no cryo is used. They are zinc plated.

Cost is 231 total to your door for front rotors.
