Playing w/ the idea of using half of a 335 muffler for 328 quad exh.

Just a random thought. I have a 328 with quad tips, straight pipe with 1 vibrant resonator to decrease drone and add some back pressure. But it is missing a nice exhaust tone and I wanted to use half of an eisenmann race or meisterschaft muffler to bring more back pressure and exhaust note. It is doable for a muffler shop that is creative on how to put it into place. Upside down, normal side up wouldn't matter to the muffler. If there's any n52 that wants to try the idea too and wants to try those mufflers let me know. We can split the cost.

I would just use a Borla muffler personally. Free up a few hp, some sound and weight, and they have a reputation for being quite(r)

Exactly what I was gonna say. Not too loud, no drone from what I heard. If you're gonna get aa headers, I think you should get the headers first and see how the car sounds

I went with Magnaflow before. IMO they sound the same but at the end of the day I'm looking for the exhaust sound eisenmann has. I'm not worried about high flow since n52's aren't power crazy. Essentially a muffler is a resonator and gets rid of drone regardless.
