Time to ditch run-flats ( Looking for recommendation / opinions )
Hello All,
I drive a 328i w/ Sport Package ( 162 Staggered ) 225/40 - 255/35 18" I have finally had it with the run flats and just noticed I have bubbles in 3 out of my 4 tires ( great ) . I live in NJ where the best tire would be a performance all season tire, If any of you guys have experience / opinions on the below options or have another tire I should check out please share. Im continuing to do some research but ultimately have to buy tires by Monday. [ Prices (4) from TireRack for reference ] $834 - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3Thanks in advance!

Are you going to run this set all year round? If so get the dws, if not and you're going to have a winter set, get the a/s 3.
The dws are your best bet if you're looking for a single set year round because it has the best snow/ice traction out of all the all seasons. The a/s 3 are the best in dry/wet and perform more like a summer than an all season. So although it's marked as an all season, it kind of isn't. I'm from Jersey and I wouldn't recommend these with the amount of snow you get in the winter. Last edited by kisho; 04-11-2015 at 04:47 PM.. |

Heard good things but I need to be able to get around in the crappy NJ winters..
Went with DWS thanks everyone! Seems to be a decent summer tire and still usable in Winter.

Tire recommendation.

DWS... They are very good tires. Improve the ride and silence tremendously and do a good job when it gets warm. I have them on now, and all I can say is what a difference!
