Only ended up with 398whp and 428trq. 1st run got 442 trq ...it's self tuned not Just " off the shelf map"
I have to work on some things and see how it goes next time not willing to spend $500 for a protune..I'm doing just fine without it , but yes maybe I will later on . |

I said the Jb4 car will beat the Cobb one because it has better mods and JB4 is more aggressive out of the box. No one is arguing that the comparison is unfair since one car has meth and the other does not, we are only answering OP's question.

You guys do realize it's just two friends going out and comparing their cars on the same dyno. This was never a thread intended to bash any tune.

It's because everyone gets fired up and butt hurt when you compare Cobb vs. JB4. Everyone wants to think what they have is the best and the fastest when 95% of those arguing have either never dyno'd their car or don't have personal experience with both tunes. Then people who don't have meth, don't want to believe it makes that much of a difference. I have JB4, FBO and meth. I like it. I'm sure there's a number of Cobb tuned N54's out there that can beat my 441whp and 486wtq. I hope they can because they spent more than twice what I did on the tune and hundreds more on their protune than I did on my free backend E85 flash.

Any thread with 2 tunes being compared will end up in a tuner war unfortunately

The title should have been 'Cobb AND JB4', but that just isn't quite as sensational or interesting. |
